Många av dem som utsatts för sexuella övergrepp eller våldtäkt gör det i unga år. 80 procent drabbas innan 25 års ålder. Undersökningen visar att 35 procent av kvinnor som våldtas innan de fyllt 18 år, också våldtas senare i livet när de blivit vuxna.

För att kunna slå fast att de verkligen har hittat Higgs behöver de 5 sigma. Det innebär en sannolikhet motsvarande 1 på 1,7 miljoner att resultatet beror på slumpen. Enligt rykten ligger sannolikheten just nu på omkring 3 sigma, motsvarande ungefär 1 på 350 att resultatet beror på slumpen.
